Background:

I’ve spent the first 7 years of my career on a Customer Success journey. I learned the value of customer feedback by meeting directly with clients to understand their frustrations about the products the company I worked for produced.

While I was exceeding in a career on this path, I had creativity that I knew I needed to incorporate with my work. I was at the tail end of the customer journey, with plenty of ideas to improve product and process that I wasn’t able to implement myself.

That is why I decided to become a Product Designer. Using my expertise of fully engaging with customer needs, I now am able to contribute to the full customer journey from beginning to end using creativity, problem solving, and consistent customer engagement.

My Path:

  • 2012: Received my BS in Environmental Science at Humboldt State University.

  • 2015: First tech job as Account Manager at Cater2.me.

  • 2017: Moved to iCracked, Inc as Operations Manager, promoted to Global B2C Operations Manager within the year.

  • 2019: Started at Tradeshift, Inc as a Service Delivery Manager, representing companies such as Levi’s, Warner Brothers, and Corning for their digital invoicing needs.

  • 2020: Accepted and started my Master of Arts in the CMCI (College of Media, Communication and Information) program at CU Boulder.

  • 2021: Graduated the Master of Arts in the CMCI (College of Media, Communication and Information) program at CU Boulder in August with a 4.0.

  • 2021: Received UX Designer Role at Cactus, Inc. I worked cross-functionally with the dev team to implement rapid desktop and mobile web designs, maintained CMS content for multiple websites, and ran client design meetings.

  • 2022: Hired at Fuego UX to be a UX Designer. I worked for a full year on a major client, performing a full SaaS platform redesign. Following a robust Design Process, I conducted Discovery and User Interviews, Defined the problem, Ideated on solutions, which led to wireframes and high fidelity prototypes for user testing. This is an ongoing project and I would be thrilled to discuss on a call.

  • 2023: Hired at Sunday to be a full time Product Designer. Conducted in-depth user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to refine design strategies and develop user-centered solutions.

    • Led the creation of intuitive user interfaces, producing wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that effectively conveyed design intent and interactions.

    • Optimized website interactions by identifying and reducing friction points, resulting in improved user flow and heightened overall user satisfaction. Increased purchase rates by 7% through optimization.

    • Developed innovative tools enhancing customers' lawn care experiences, driving engagement, retention, and boosting Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV). 10% of users that used the feature I designed entered our purchase funnel.

    • Iterated and improved Sunday's Design System to ensure consistency and efficiency, implementing over 2,000 variants and components.

Let’s work together.
